Serving on our ministry team offers the opportunity to impact thousands of lives a year. While each position has specific responsibilities, we work to help every team member understand how they fit into our vision and mission to make significant contributions in their area of responsibility and throughout the ministry.

Year-Round Positions

Position: Guest Services Coordinator

The successful candidate can:

  •  Assist the Director of Retreat Ministries with guest services from inception through event completion.
  • Provide weekly updates to Kitchen, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Outdoor Programs, and Summer Camp departments regarding guest group needs and logistics.
  • Give tours of property and facilities, when needed.
  • Communicate with all group leaders regarding their visit.

Position: Housekeeper

The successful candidate can:

  • Work a part-time, flexible schedule between 10-20 hours/week.
  • Clean sleeping, meeting and common areas with a minimum of supervision.
  • Make beds and process laundry.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.

Position: Kitchen Staff

The successful candidate has:

  • Prefer a minimum of 6 months food service experience, but willing to train.

  • Ability to work weekdays and some weekends.

  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, 10 – 20 hours/week.

  • Ability to follow simple instructions consistently.

Position: Maintenance Staff

The successful candidate can:

  • Work a full-time, flexible schedule.
  • Maintain, repair, and clean facilities; including buildings, vehicles, and grounds.
  • Work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Lift up to 60 pounds.

Seasonal Positions

Position:  Volunteer Healthcare Staff

We're looking for licensed RNs, APRNs, or physicians to volunteer for one week of camp in exchange for room, board, and a camp scholarship equal to the cost of a week of Riverside camp. Candidates must be licensed to work in the state of Maryland (or have a compact license) and experience working with children is preferred.
