Looking to hone your leadership skills or feeling ready to become part of the Pecometh summer staff? This two-session program for our oldest campers will prepare participants to step into leadership roles on and off camp. Session one, CIT's will participate in an intensive, engaging, training schedule, including Christian leadership/followership, behavioral management, and observation. Upon successful completion of training, campers will be invited back for session two. Where participants will be able to choose which week they wish to return for! CITs will be paired with mentors, live in camper cabins, and participate in duty rotations, serving in a variety of camp roles to experience each area and find their leadership style. The session will feel almost like working at camp!

All participants will attend a week of camp together in the summer. The schedule will combine experiential education opportunities, such as low and high ropes on the Challenge Course, with development sessions to identify strengths, build on areas of growth, and develop strategies for effective leadership within the organizations they plan to serve. Of course, there will be some camp fun in there, too! After their first week of camp, the two learning tracks will continue their learning in the different ways described below.
