Join the Pecometh Christmas Lights Display

We are always trying to create new events for families at Pecometh and this year we are hosting a drive-through Christmas Lights event on Saturday, December 4, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

We would love to have the help of your group or organization in spreading Christmas cheer by setting up a display. This could be your church, youth group, scout troop, school club, family, business... anyone with a passion for Christmas creativity. Here’s how it works:

  • Each group will be assigned a location on the drive-through route with plenty of space to set up your display. We encourage you to get creative.
  • We can provide power for your display, or if you are able, you can provide your own generator/power source. Doing the latter will enable us to handle as many groups as would like to come, but it’s not a requirement.
  • Cars will be required to follow a specific route through camp, and passengers will not be permitted to get out of their cars except at the designated spot at Riverside.
  • We ask that you refrain from passing out any “goodies.”
  • We will not charge admission, but will accept donations from attendees.

The fine print:
  • All children and youth must be supervised at all times by an adult (age 18+). For more information about how this applies to your organized group, please refer to the Safe Sanctuary Covenant.
  • All participants will be counted as Pecometh volunteers (yes, this means youth can earn volunteer service hours!) and will need to complete the Pecometh Volunteer Waiver - this information will be issued to each group leader to share with their group.
  • At least one adult (18+) from your group must be present at your display site throughout the event to supervise.
  • We ask that your display is fully set up before dusk - around 4:30 pm on Saturday. To encourage this, each group's space will be available for set up starting Friday at 8 am, so you can choose the time on Friday or Saturday that works. Displays must be cleaned up by 4:45 pm on Sunday.
  • If you would like to have live animals as part of your display, please contact us for more information.
  • Restrooms will be available in the Dining Hall, and at this time masks will be required to enter the building. You will either need to walk (safely, with a flashlight) or drive following the directional signs for the drive-through.
  • All other buildings are off limits unless otherwise stated (for instance, your power source is coming from inside a building).
  • You are responsible for any and all equipment, display materials, etc. Pecometh is not responsible for any loss or damage.
