Join the Pecometh Prayer Team

The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective (James 5:16b NRSV).

Pecometh has been providing Christian hospitality and programming that promote God-inspired, life-changing  experiences for nearly eight decades. We know much of this is because God's people pray for Pecometh regularly.

This year we feel led to take that to another level. It's one thing to pray for the ministry. We believe that asking others to celebrate our joys and pray for concerns will deepen and widen Pecometh's impact.

Here are some of our recent joys and concerns:

• We've had two new retreat groups within the past week who were so excited about their experience that they've already reserved for the same time next year. They especially mentioned our wonderful kitchen staff, the cleanliness of our facilitiess and the overall experience. The word "phenomenal" was uttered frequently.
• We're thanking God for Buddy Landing's 28 years of service. Buddy will retire in mid-April and we're celebrating him on March 19. It's fair to say that he's had as much impact on Pecometh as any person in our history.
• We're asking for prayers that summer camp registration and summer staff recruitment continue to grow so that we can impact as many young people as possible with the love and grace of God.
• We have a major repair pending for our fire suppression system pump and are praying that things will go smoothly and that the cost will be as low as possible.
