Summer Camp Photos: Week 4 |
Thanks for checking out the photo gallery for the fourth week of camp, July 9-14, 2017.
Weekend Update: We are so excited to meet our campers that will be joining us for our Week 4 programs at Camp Pecometh! Be sure to check back here for pictures that will be uploaded throughout the week of the fun activities at camp. We hope to have a new set of pictures uploaded every morning along with a brief update about how things are going at camp. See you on Sunday (or Monday for our Day Campers) at Check-in!
Sunday Update: With check-in and camper swim checks out of the way, campers were able to kick off their week at Camp Pecometh with lots of smiles, sunshine, and a few silly faces to accompany some of the yard games and group time with fellow cabinmates. Can't wait to see what this week has in store for this group of campers!
Monday Update: Morning downpours are not a problem for our campers, especially when it allows some extra time for fun in Fellowship Hall or in Arts & Crafts! The wet grass also provided some cooling relief from the heat and humidy that followed throughout the afternoon once the sunshine broke through. It's gonna be a very warm week at Camp Pecometh, but that's perfect for some time out on the Chester River and in the pool.
Tuesday Update: A lot of water breaks in order to combat the persistant heat and humidity, but our campers are making the best of it. In the pool and on the Chester River seem like the perfect places to be! Can it get any better than tubing with your friends on a huge banana?! These pictures make me want to go out there and join!
Wednesday Update: This hot weather made for some amazing pictures from cool activities like Splashdown and the Camp Pecometh pool. Our little chefs are also all smiles enduring the heat, from the kitchen that is. They really need to start sharing their kitchen creations with the rest of Camp!
Thursday Update: Our campers endured the hot and humid weather just fine with the help of an adjusted activity schedule allowing more time in the water and in the AC. Leaps of Faith campers were still able to go on their kayaking trip and returned just in time before some afternoon thunderstorms rolled in. Because of nearby showers and thunderstorms, the Galilean services were held inside Fellowship Hall rather than on the waterfront, but the rain was a welcome cooldown. Overall, it was a great last full day of fun at Camp Pecometh!
Friday Update: Apologies for the delay getting pictures for Friday posted! With the storm system that moved though, our staff was busy ensuring that campers were kept safe throughout the afternoon and the pictures were not uploaded until the weekend. Anyways, the stormy weather didn't hinder all the smiles at Closing Worship and our Day Campers enjoyed themselves (even when having to shelter in their cabins because of thunder). Thank you all for a great week at Camp Pecometh, we hope to see some familiar faces next year!
